These tracks were collected from sessions I did between 2008 and 2010. They were recorded on an extremely cheap microphone, the make and model of which I never actually found out. As such, the fidelity falls significantly short of any acceptable modern standard. Back then, as today, my “recording studio” consisted of a microphone positioned in front of an instrument or amplifier and connected to a laptop.

Between '07 and '10, I recorded many hours of tracks that simply aren't fit for public consumption. Either the recording quality wasn’t high enough to distinguish what the sound is doing, or my skill as a musician wasn’t high enough to adequately translate the ideas I had into enjoyable sound, or—more often than not—some combination of both made for relatively unlistenable messes of audio that I’ve since come to consider failures. However, there are some good ideas here and there, and from the best of what I could still find on my hard drive, I have collected these good ideas and believe them to be of sufficient quality to share with any interested parties.

Appropriately, since these tracks were never initially meant for distribution, errors exist in the production, recording, or the execution. These are natural byproducts of the sessions’ focus on brainstorming and experimentation rather than on the production of a polished unit. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy them.

None of these tracks were recorded with acoustic instruments.
